Superhero Super Power

Colbys preschool teacher is a true gem! I just love her! She is so good to Colby, and all her little kiddos. She told me that they were talking about superheros and she decided that Colby was the smiley superhero with a superpower of smiles that can get him anything and get anyone to like him. I loved that! She told me that he has to be the happiest kid she has ever seen. He is always smiling and just nice to everyone. He is so much like Caden it kills me. Everyone just LOVED Caden the same way, and then he grew up a little and became a punk. How do I keep this precious little snuggle bug so happy and fun. He really does lift everyones spirit. When he went to stay with Nana for a week while we were moving I warned Chet that he was going to have to step it up in the compliment category because Colbs usually gives me more than enough to feel so good. Without him, I don't feel like the princess he tells me I am ALLLLLLL the time. I sure love that little smiley superhero. I know this for sure, he has successfully used his super power on me, like daily!!! It works like a charm!

Cael came home from school with the cutest little cookbook. Every kindergartener wrote their favorite recipe that their mom makes. Cael chose Swedish pancakes. The ingredients were 2 eggs and a scoop of sugar! Then the instructions including pouring sugar on many times. It was so cute. However, Liam wrote his favorite was pepperoni pizza. Ingredients were to go to the store and buy it and cook it for 30 min. I told Chet, "How would you feel to be Liams mom?! That would suck!" (It was the only recipe that did not include ingredients. All the rest were homemade things) Today I went to help out with a field trip and told Mrs Holte, Caels teacher thanks for the book, we got a lot of laughs. She said thanks and then told me that Cael came back to class the next day and announced to the entire class while he had everyones attention that his mom said it would suck to be Liams mom. I wanted to DIE!!! Mrs Holte was laughing, and she said that she was laughing so hard when he said it too. She wanted to call Liams mom and tell her about it! I wanted to just crawl under a rock! I better be a little more careful what I say in front of little ears! Ay ay ay!!!!
