Pine Wood Derby 2014

The track

Cars and Carter right after the race. They did so well last year, and I was sooooooo proud of them for the good sports they were this year. They were fun and laughing and excited when they won their heat, but they were great sports when they didn't place at all

Caden receiving his trophy for 3rd place

All three boys after a great night of hot dogs and friends. They really are just good boys!!!

Butter

When I was a little girl, my parents took a picture of a piece of bread and another of me eating it, with pure excitement on my face. When I got up the other morning and found this, I just had to laugh. I used to eat my bread with about a half of cube of butter. This was Cael eating his peice of toast he made himself! Crazy!!!

Best Invention Ever

Chet thought that I was crazy when I bought this. I LOVE, and I mean LOVE this. we use it for syrup and soap and so many other things. Isn't that just a great idea. I hate to waste things, but I also hate having lids off and trying to scrape out the last of things. Love this!!! I smile ear to ear every time I use it!!!

Temple Trip Oct 2013

Here we are after the temple with the kids at a corn maze. We were with the Lee's, and we always have a great time with them. They also have 5 kids, almost all our kids ages (except the two oldest for both our families)

These were little duck races. The harder you pumped that water, the faster your ducks went. It was so funny watching the kids just pumping away. We stayed there forever. Too funny!

(Caden had his little left arm pumping as fast as it would go too)

 Parker, Vivian
Thompson, Guinevere, Cael, Colby, Carson, Caden
 Kate, Carter

(Thompson is such a little guy! Him and Colbs are just 2 months apart in age)

Clint was bouncing the kids so hard they couldn't keep standing

This was a train ride, pulled by a tractor. They pulled them on a track around the corn field and to see the animals. The kids all just piled in. That is what I love about the being with the Lee's. Our kids are all just friends and we can help any of their kids and they can help any of ours. Its more like family than friends!
 Carter and Cael
 Caden and Viv
 Carson and Thompson
 Guin and Colbs

Cael walked around in this chain link fence FOREVER!
He kept finding his way out of the maze and then would go back in. He loved it!

 Colbs, Cael, and Carter

Inside the corn maze with 10 kids. We must be crazy. It was scary at first. Then both Erin and I worried about our babies and let the others just roam. It was lots of fun for the babies. They laughed and ran and screamed and just enjoyed it!

I could have taken 20 more pics of all the things there were to do there, but this was Cars on a slide. That thing was FAST!!! The kids went on it a million times too.

Thompson (hid in the corn) Kate, and Colbs

Conference

This is how we conference. Pajamas, and bingo with PLENTY of candy. My boys have never listened so good. They watched and listened to more than half this year. Usually it is one talk and always the prophet per session. I was proud of them, and proud of myself too. Great idea!

First Hunting Trip

The boys were sooooo excited to go hunting with dad. It was great of Chet to take them. When taking these two yahoos anywhere, you can never expect quiet, so he knew it was more about just being together, and was a great sport about it. There was NOOOOO way they were ever going to get within range to get an elk with a bow, but who cares right...

Caden's Baptism

Caden with his cousin Taylor. He was so excited!

Family pic is totally blurry, but it was a good day. Cael was thrilled and was NOT being held against his will (well maybe he was!)

First Day of School 2013

I know these are super late, but I want to get them in (now that I can access my pics!)

 Brady Rhodee. Connor King. Caden
Baylee Rhodee. Hannah King. Carson, Carter

They were so excited. First day of 2nd and 4th grade.

 Cars, Cade, Connor, Carter
Getting ready to pull out to school. A favorite thing for the boys. They love to ride to school

Riding away. And I was heading to party! I love my boys, and public school!!!

Back in Business

So my computer was breaking down every other time I used it in April. I was so sick of it, that I just took it down and thought that when we moved, I would buy a new one. We never moved. I never bought a new one. My awesome mom gave me her old laptop so that I could blog again. It is almost a dinosaur, and I LOVE it! It's my very own. No one else gets to use it, and nothing ever gets moved or changed. Annnnnnnnnd..... that means that I can finally pull all my pictures off my phone and put them on here. I have not been able to put pictures on Chet's laptop, therefore no pictures on the blog. So... here are a lot of misc pics from the last 10 mo.
 Colby watching bros play soccer
 Denver Broncos game
Boys watching a movie. Colby will do ANYTHING Cael does!
Colby came in and told me that he was dressed for the day.

Papa's four-wheeler. This alone is worth parking outside!
 Best friends!
 Nice gettup Cael!

Everything is guns and camping! Even flossers!

Instead of crayons, this restaurant gave these bendy things. My birthday lunch at Prime Rib. Perfect dates (along with Chet of course!)

Cael LOVES to wear my knee high boots. I thought this was soo funny, since they were hip boots on him!
And Colby cannot be more than two inches from him!

Colby had the flu. Thus the throwup bowl. But Cael stayed right by his side ALL.DAY.LONG and helped with anything that Colby needed or asked for. He was rubbing his back and soothing him. So sweet.
I love how my boys are always close. Huge couch and they are always almost sitting on each other.
They fight with the best of them, but they are really close!

You wouldn't catch me DEAD eating a carrot. I was folding clothes and Colby came in and climbed up in my bed just yapping away while chowing on his carrot. Too stinkin cute.

Every boy has their own bed. But any given night, you can usually find at least two boys in bed with each other. They are so funny how they sleep too. This is why they cannot sleep in my bed. I do not appreciate a butt sniffer in my bed thanks!

Pine Wood Derby 2014. Last year Carter and Carson DESTROYED everyone. They came in 1st & 2nd. This year they did well, but didn't place. Caden took 3rd though. It was a fun night. 3 boys in scouts at the same time. Crazy!!!
