Chet came home for lunch the other day, and upon entering and hugging Colby, he asked what he had been up to. Colby told him he was watching a movie. Chet asked if he was watching Power Rangers. All my boys love watching Power Rangers, but I no longer allow them to watch. They think that they can be Power Rangers after watching, and believe me, we don't need any more aggression in this house. So Colby looks at Chet and says, "No. I can't watch porn or Power Rangers dad." Chet said it was just so matter of fact. Like they belong in the same class.
I do love that we have talked to them so much and openly about how harmful porn is to our society, that it's not uncomfortable. It just is what it is. Off limits!!!
You should check out the book "Good Pictures, Bad Pictures." It is AMAZING. Tyson quotes it often. It is for young and old, child and teen. Great pictures. Great descriptions. It is just an amazing book. I LOVE IT!!!!!
