We FIgured It Out

Cael and Colby, along with every other boy under 5, love the water! They had filled up our backyard pool and were ready to go swimming when it started to rain. They decided to jump in the bath with swim suits and play in there. It was a mess! Water was everywhere, I heard more whining and screaming than I can handle in a day, and I was just done. I went in the bathroom and told them to go to their beds and figure it out. They were not allowed to come out until they worked it out. They dried off and got dressed with just as much screaming and yelling. They were both so mad. About 10 min later and sadly, I had forgot all about them screaming and in their room, they come into my room where I am folding clothes, and Cael says, "Mom? Colby and I have figured it out. We are best buddies again. And we have realized the things that we have done wrong to each other, and we have told each other, and now we will do it in front of you too." They turn to each other and say sorry for the specific things they had done to each other and then hugged and looked at me. It was soooooo cute. They are so much smarter than the older boys. It was so precious. I love that they can see what they have done wrong, admit it to each other, say sorry, become best buddies again, and hug all on their own. So dang cute!!!
