So Chet and I had our "2nd Annual Christmas Party" on Friday. Last year was ugly sweater, so this year was best t-shirt.
These were the finalists. All 24 people here voted on paper.
This is Clint, one of Chet's best friends. He serves in the Young Mens with Chet and took this on a campout. Nice!
Chet WON!!! Although, Clints was super funny!!! He wanted it to look like Chet's pants were around his ankles. Too funny! We thought Chet's was great too!
We played some fun games, ate super yummy food, had a white elephant exchange, and socialized. It was tons of fun. We grew from 20 to 24 this year. We cannot keep growing, or we will not have room.

(This was the gift Chet gave. Clint does NOT drink caffeine but
Chet took this picture of him drinking a Dew on a campout at the top of the
huge peak theyclimbed for High Adventure. Chet always brings his blue cup to
Clints house full of Mtn Dew and they call it his "contraban cup"
(spelling might be shakey here!) So he gave the picture and the note
says we all know you are all closet Dew drinkers, so heres you a cup too!

Clint gave this Mtn Dew gift. He put a note that said now Chet can drink
his Dew at church too. Obviously this is a theme. I asked Chet how he liked
being the butt of all jokes. He just laughs. It was HILLARIOUS though! Best white elephant!

My kids saw this bag on the counter. I heard Carson
say to his brothers, "Mom and Dad had wine at their party, look!"
I was out of bed like a lightning bolt. I went right in to explain that
it was grape juice, and pointed out the non-alcoholic!
I think he took a huge sigh of relief. I was very hurt by it though.
I asked him if he thought I would drink wine, and he said no
but saw it and thought it was. Fixed that one quick!
We had a great time! We will be having the "Best Hat Contest" next year!!! So fun!
