The other day Carter and Carson were having a discussion about school. They were talking about their favorite things to do at recess (they are so different they barely even see each other at recess.) and their favorite subjects and teachers and so forth. Then Cars says, "The WORST part of school is their toilet paper!" Carter points and him and says, "YES! Their toilet paper SUCKS!" Then he turned to me and said that if he ever has to go really bad and knows that he cannot make it to the end of the day, he will fake sick and have me come get him. I was laughing so hard. I guess that my boys have it pretty good if the worst thing that could happen to them was to have to poop at school!!! They make me laugh. Chet and I spent the next couple minutes showing and teaching them how to take toilet paper to school in their book bags front pocket and how to really sly like take it from their bags and take their own paper into the bathroom. They thought that was a really good idea.
When Chet and I have talked about saving money in different areas, we have a couple of times come to the cost of toilet paper. I think it would have to be a pretty big savings to make that cut! We are without a doubt, Toilet Paper Parker Snobs!! Hotels that start with "H" and Charmin (the blue kind!) come as TOP priorities (every one has em, ours are just weird to the nth degree I know!!!) And now we are teaching our boys our crazies too!
You once told me a story about this very issue. Chet said that life was too short to use crappy toilet paper. I have grinned with this thought whenever Randy has tried to get me to buy a cheaper brand. I use that statement EVERY SINGLE TIME! Thanks, Parkers, for helping win that arguement!
